Welcome to Wooft! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wooft mobile application ("App"). By using Wooft, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Wooft. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Account Registration

To use Wooft, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

3. User Conduct

When using Wooft, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about yourself and your dog(s)
• Treat other users with respect and courtesy
• Not harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Not use the app for any illegal purposes
• Not upload inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Not impersonate others or create fake profiles
• Not spam or send unsolicited messages
• Ensure your dog is properly vaccinated and socialized

4. Dog Owner Responsibilities

As a dog owner using Wooft, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for your dog's behavior during walks and meetups
• You must ensure your dog is safe to be around other dogs and people
• You are responsible for any damage or injury caused by your dog
• You should verify vaccination and health status before arranging walks
• Wooft is not responsible for any incidents that occur during walks arranged through the app

5. Safety Guidelines

For your safety and the safety of your dog:

• Meet in public places for first-time meetups
• Inform someone of your planned walk location and time
• Trust your instincts - if something feels wrong, leave
• Keep your dog on a leash unless in designated off-leash areas
• Report any concerning behavior through the app's reporting feature

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, text, etc.). However, by posting content on Wooft, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content within the app.

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use automated systems or bots to access the app
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the app
• Use the app for commercial purposes without authorization
• Collect user information without consent

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users or the Wooft community.

9. Disclaimers

Wooft is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy of user profiles or information
• The behavior or temperament of dogs on the platform
• The safety of in-person meetups arranged through the app
• Uninterrupted or error-free service

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wooft and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to injuries, property damage, or disputes with other users.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Wooft after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.
